Welcome to the Department of Midwifery at the Faculty of Health Sciences, Alanya University.

Our Department aims to educate qualified midwives who contribute to the protection and promotion of women’s, maternal, newborn, child, family, and community health; possess scientific thinking skills; adhere to ethical values; adopt evidence-based practices; and are able to use digital health and artificial intelligence technologies effectively and ethically in line with the needs of today’s healthcare environment.

Through our contemporary educational approach, innovative practices, strong academic staff, and student-centered perspective, we place great importance on developing not only professional knowledge and clinical skills, but also competencies in critical thinking, research, communication, leadership, and lifelong learning.
